Arpinge is a joint stock company, which invests as a sponsor in infrastructure, “infrastructural” plants and real estate, employing project financing and with a vocation for investment in new projects and redevelopment including greenfield sites.
Founding shareholders are INARCASSA (40.39%), CIPAG (40.39%) and EPPI (19.22%). However, Arpinge capital is open to other institutional investors.
As of today the Founding Shareholders have allocated about EUR 170 million of seed capital, which – with moderate leverage and other partners – can trigger total investments between EUR 200 million and 400 million.
Arpinge aims to have in the future up to EUR 500 million available – also by means of participation instruments or the entry of new shareholders – which, added to the previous multipliers, would lead to significant investments.
Arpinge’s positioning strategy also focuses on projects that – overall – have a significant greenfield component, in relation to which the Company, during the start-up phase of the investment, will assume the role of industrial/operating sponsor, taking on responsibility for identifying technical market structures with the skills necessary to ensure the development of the sites, with construction schedules and costs in line with the business plan and the project aims.
